About Us

 John Hughes, Company-Director, has over 20 years experience in the diabetes industry, having set up of Lifescan in the UK, and in addition having worked for such organisations as Abbott Laboratories (Medisense blood glucose monitoring) and Novo Nordisk. John was also involved in the earliest insulin infusion delivery systems and established Disetronic Medical Systems Ltd in the UK in 1999.

 
Les Norton (Product Specialist) was formerly a diabetes nurse specialist within the NHS and now brings his expertise to the commercial setting. His particular interest and skill is helping centres to set up and establish their own insulin pump therapy service. In addition Les is available to help train individual patients or groups if centres require this level of support when initially setting up their pump service.

Alison Hughes (Customer Service Manager) gained her diabetes customer service experience with Nordisk Insulin and Novo Nordisk and gained first hand experience of pump therapy by working alongside John Hughes and Les Norton. Alison's commitment to providing our customers with friendly and efficient customer service.

Samantha Hope (Product Specialist),  formerly a diabetes nurse specialist and pump trainer with MiniMed .Sam covers the Greater London area,  providing the same level of service and support to diabetes teams and pump users as Les Norton
